Activated Charcoal has been used for centuries and is well known for its absorptive ability. Activated Charcoal is highly absorbent. It is used to support the body's cleansing and detoxification mechanisms as it helps bind toxins in the digestive tract. It may also help the body's efforts to expel intestinal gas.
